An electrolyte panel, also known as a serum electrolyte test, is a blood test that measures levels of the body's main electrolytes: Sodium, which helps control the amount of fluid in the body. Indication: Evaluates copper levels in blood. Why it's needed: Important in diagnosing Wilson’s disease or nutritional deficiencies.

Indication: Evaluates hydration and electrolyte balance. Why it's needed: Helps diagnose hyponatremia or hypernatremia, both serious fluid/electrolyte imbalances.
